Hello There,
Tony and I had the privilege of sharing an intimate exchange with our dear friend Esther Perel at our Platinum Partnership event in Mexico.
Sitting face to face, heart to heart,
it felt like we were the only two in the room.
It was vulnerable and transparent in its rawness and aliveness. It reminded me of something I continue to be schooled by in love:
We often believe someone else is turning us off,
through what they say or don't say,
how they show up or don't.
As we invite our attention inward and sincerely inquire,
we recognize how we turn ourselves off.
When busyness, pressure, or old protection patterns close the very heart that longs to stay open. And we see the quiet ways we've been choosing safety over connection,
comfort over aliveness.
Love is not only something we feel.
It's something we experience,
we share, we allow.
Something we choose to open to… again and again.
Below is a video of Tony and I experiencing this guided practice by Esther ~
perhaps you'll feel called to try it with someone you love:
If these reflections land with you, I'm beginning to share more on YouTube. Subscribe. Let's continue this journey together.
THIS WEEK’S INQUIRY
This week, I invite you into that same practice.
To let love be something experienced now.
Choose your partner or loved one.
Be with them. Share what your heart has been holding.
And as you do, notice:
I turn myself off when…
I turn myself on when…
I close myself off when…
I open myself up when…

Love,
Sage Robbins 🪷
