Hello Friend,

There's a space between our exhale and inhale. Between what has been lived, experienced, learned, and what is longing to be broken open and birthed.

We can innocently rush right past it, as we set resolutions and make plans. Leaping toward January 1st as if transformation happens by crossing a threshold on a calendar

Do you ever notice, you  wake up on New Year's Day with the same thoughts, the same frustrations you had the day before? Renewal doesn't work that way. Renewal asks something of us first: acknowledgment.

Before we can step into what's next, we're invited to turn back toward what was. To say thank you, to release and bless this past year of life. To connect to how this year has called us to grow, to evolve, to let go, to say I'm sorry, to love deeper.

And from that seeing, we can consciously choose what we carry forward and what we leave behind.

The truth is, fresh starts aren't handed to us on New Year's Day.
They're created here, in these in-between breaths, by our willingness to pause. To reflect. To release what no longer serves our life.

I've learned that the most powerful thing I can do at year's end isn't to make promises about who I’ll be. It's to take full responsibility for who I’ve been, and from that place of awareness, step forward with clarity and intention.

In the video below, Tony and I share the practices we return to every year. Simple rituals that we as a family share together. I invite you to take this time, turn some music on, light a candle, and enjoy.

From my heart to yours,

Happy New Year!
