Hello There,

Today is International Women's Day — a celebration of the women who have shaped us, held us, and shown us the way.

Here’s a little reflection I wrote on what it means to be a woman:

She

She Is life.

She longs, she loves, she lives.

She creates, she destroys, she imagines.

She's fierce, she's tender, she's bright.

She renews, she offers, she inspires.

She reminds, she calls, she connects.

She awakens life. She embodies life.

She caresses life. She gives life. She births life. She holds life.

She creates life. She extends life. She feels life.

She ignites life. She expresses life.

She restores life. She is wild. She is wise. She is strong.

She is free. She is life. She is beautiful.

She is you. She is me.

This is the fullness of being a woman — holding opposites without breaking.

Containing multitudes. Being soft and strong in the same breath.

We don't have to choose.

Today I honor my mother. The one who taught me to love life, to laugh, to serve, and to make life around me beautiful.

A force of nature whose love has blessed us all and whose light continues to guide the way.

To Mary, who said yes to the unknown, who reflected what it means to be a vessel — to carry, nourish, and support life. You've seen me when I didn't see myself.

I am grateful. My heart knows something words cannot describe.

To our beloved daughter, whose light reflects awe and wonder in us all.

To my three sisters — your fierce, scrappy love for one another has been the glue as we have moved through life's seasons.

Love and thank you to every sister on the path who has supported another.

We need the kindness, clarity, and support of one another.

To the one who births new ideas, new dreams, new ways of being.

The one who holds space for others, and sometimes forgets to hold it for herself.

The one who feels everything deeply, and at times wishes she didn't.

The one who keeps going, keeps loving, keeps believing.

She is life. She is beautiful. She is you. She is me.

THIS WEEK’S INQUIRY

Before you move on, ask yourself:

  • Who is the woman in your life who is overdue to be truly witnessed and celebrated? What would it mean to tell her so — today?

  • And where might you offer that same honoring inward — to yourself, and the life you have lived and are still living?

Join us at our Unleash The Power Within (Virtual Event) this week, see below for details.

On this International Women's Day, may we truly witness her — and honor her with our words and our lives.

Love,
Sage Robbins 🪷
